Power: while he was born with eidetic memory, due to some spirit shenanigans, his is unusually powerful. he can recall scenes and memories as if looking at a photograph but also recall the smells, sounds, and scents associated with said memories. the problem is it gets so intense that he sometimes needs to check if he's living in the moment or the past. he solves this by wearing a rubber band around his wrist, and if he's confused or concerned, he snaps it.
sometimes, if someone is fixating on a memory while in physical contact with Gabriel, he will see it as he does when he recalls one of his own. though rare, it works with memories that are filled with gaps and holes due to repression, and has often times helped people remember things they mentally shut away.
