She tell Gabriel to be a little more grateful for them risking their lives to even do anything, but no one owed anyone shit out here so... it would be a waste of her breath.
Even as Gabriel struggles to walk along with them, Simon tries to keep them off the more well traveled path, as much as it would be easier for Gabriel to walk on, it was also more likely others would use it. Simon feels bad with every ragged breath Gabriel takes, eventually stopping them so he can have more to drink.]
